Recycle toilet paper rolls - a simple project idea

Empty toilet paper rolls is probably one of the most common and most abundant type of trash. We mostly discard them simply as that.

There are many diy projects out there using these empty cardboard tubes, such as seed planter, pencil holder, trinket holder etc., etc.

In this article I am showcasing one such project - a simple scroll holder (and trinket holder also)

1. I didn't use much for this project, just to keep it simple. A basic glue gun, scissors, and a piece of squared cardboard.

2. Of course you can use as many or as little rolls as you like, this is just a random number I used.

3. I kind of tried to put in something of a honeycomb structure, but I guess a simple chaos will do just fine.

4. Lastly I cut of the excess cardboard from the base. All in all I was being lazy on this one - could have used more colour, maybe used some natural elements to create a nature scene... But to demonstrate an idea this will work for now.

There will be many follow up projects using tp rolls, for example, Next up I think will be a framed scroll case.
