Garden electrical lantern (city light)

     A light that is both simple, elegant and yet robust enough to withstand the harsh weather outside. You could buy something like this at almost any hardware store or home depo, but to make one takes ''creating an atmosphere'' to whole new level.

    The idea is simple enough. Lets take a lantern, be it a old candle light or a new Ikea decoration, and put inside a light fixture which then is connected to a power source.

  If you plan to connect it to a mains power, a simple incandescent lightbulb will do, but if you plan to use a solar power source then LED bulb or a LED light strip should be the way to go.

   And here is what I made. Might not be the most complicated one, but it does look cool in the garden at night.

           Don't judge a book by its cover. That's true, but still, you can change the cover to better match the contents inside. There is no one way to style your cover, but here are some of the ideas.     Vinyl wallpaper has a bonus that makes it easy to work with. Because of its relative softness in comparison to paper, when gluing to a cover, it wrinkles much less. This way you can use the various designs found at the shops or create a new design by turning it over and using the blank side. The end result gives you a soft textured feel and look.
