Wood crate from old window frames

Old window frames, especially glassed paned ones, are sometimes hard to get rid of. Alternatively those that are in a better condition, can be upcycled into various projects, like a storage crate of some kind. Like the one I made here.

First I found the best preserved windows, those that hadn't started to rot yet. I removed all the metal parts, like hinges, scraped off as much paint as I could and sanded the frame a little. The same I did with a door from a old cupboard that was slowly rotting away nearby.

What I used:
1. 4 Old window frames (for the walls)
2. Old cupboard door
3. Angle grinder
4. Heat gun and scraper
5. Screws and angles
6. two hinges
7. Paint

Using screws and some metal angles, I put it all together quite crudely. Precision was not my highest priority here. Two hinges were used to put the door in place and because there was free space at each end of the door ( the door was slightly too short for the crate) I screwed two small planks to fill the missing part.
